Spectra-Solaris Laboratory is a Canadian company
active since January 2001 in Ottawa, Ontario.
We have extensive experience in
traditional solar cells and solar modules characterization and
measurement. We offer now innovative and comprehensive testing services for photovoltaic manufacturing and research
facilities
with limited budgets but interested in affordable, in-depth
characterization of their solar devices. Our testing approach is based
on non-conventional AC techniques like impedance (C-V) and electrical noise
spectroscopy, complementing the usual
dark I-V and quantum efficiency (spectral response) measurements.
Besides our measurement services we
offer custom designed solar cell testing jigs, pneumatic contacting
assemblies (manual or automated), vacuum deposition masks and motorized X-Y stages.
A dedicated instrument, Solar Simulator
Class Evaluator is also offered.
We have outstanding electromechanical and data
acquisition design capabilities based on state of the art software
(SolidWorks, AutoCad, Orcad, DipTrace, Agilent VEE, Matlab, Origin, PLC
ladder, etc.).
Spectra-Solaris Laboratory is operating in close
association with SUNLAB of University of Ottawa.
